It’s been a typing frenzy…

Okay, so I’ve got a lot of legwork behind me. I need to update this blog on a regular basis and I pinky promise from now on I will. I see that people have been reading my blog so apparantly there are others wanting to break into the world of ’sitting on your behind’ for 10 hours at a time, coffee and empty pop-tart wrappers scattered around the computer screen. Oh, I mean freelance writing.

I’m now writing for two different places and am about to take a test with a big client where I could possibly make up to 1,000 per week. If this happens….or I should say WHEN this happens, I am going to quit doing daycare….drop it like it’s hot…kick those babies to the curb. (especially the one who screams two centimeters from the other babies faces. Some kids are hitters, some are biters….He’s a face-screamer. Believe me, it’s an effective weapon. His scream will break blood vessels in your eyeballs.)

Yes, I said it. I run a small daycare from my home AND I do freelance writing. The toddlers are a fun bunch but I’m almost at the seven year itch with that whole diaper changing, booger wiping, finger painting scene. I’m ready to make a nest and settle comfortably into my world of words….

Over the next few days I will put up some posts with exact website names of good legitimate forums and places to freelance. There are plenty of scams out there, that’s for sure.

The one I write for currently pays every Friday at midnight in my paypal account. I made a bit over 100 dollars the first week, $75 the second, $120 the third, $100 last week and today is Wednesday and I have $62 in already and $24 at another site I started for. So this week I have $86 so far. I am trying to hit $200 this week. That would be COOL BEANS!
